2023 Texas State Open Tournament

Hope this email finds you well. Attached you will find the entry form for the 90th Annual Open Championship Tournament to be held in the Dallas area. No entry forms will be mailed by snail mail this year just like last year. One attachment is the full 4 page entry and the second attachment is a fillable form that you may use to fill out on your computer. Be sure if you fill out on the computer that you save it before emailing it back to me at tsusbcopen@gmail.com. PLEASE PRINT THE ENTRY FORM IN LANDSCAPE FORM.
This year the doubles/singles events will be held at AMF Richardson Lanes and the team event will be held at AMF Lewisville Lanes. Addresses are shown on the first page of the entry form. You may make as many copies of the entry form that you wish. If you would rather, you can fill out and mail to me with a cashier’s check or money order to the address on the actual entry form. Ray Johnson adds another 800 to his total
Ray Johnson shot an 804 tonight in the Wednesday Night Summer Trio’s League at Sheppard AFB. Great bowling Ray!
Ronald J Stebbins
Bowlers, it’s with great sadness that we pass on to you the news of the passing of one of our local bowlers. Ron Stebbins passed away on the 15th. He bowled at Sheppard AFB on the Tuesday and Thursday leagues. He will be missed on the lanes.
Ron spent almost 2 decades serving in the Army, during which he was awarded a Silver Star, a Bronze Star and received a Purple Heart for injuries sustained in combat as a member of the Special Forces 5th Group.
Maria Horton said one of his proudest moments was when his grandson graduated from the Texas State Trooper Academy.
There will be viewings on Tuesday and Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:30 and a Service at 10am on Thursday at Owens and Brumley.
